Messerli Group Brand Movie
In 2024, the Messerli Group presents itself in a new design with a redesigned website and fresh content. Live Lab was commissioned to shoot the new brand movie, which resulted not only in a group-wide brand movie but also eleven individual company portraits.
The Messerli Group is diverse. So are the people who work within the Group. Each one is an expert or specialist in his or her field. All in all, the group-wide result is a generalist with profound knowledge.
The challenge for the brand movie is precisely to capture and explain this microcosm in a short film.
Our approach is somewhat daring and therefore entertaining: the film is based on truths and pointed statements, some of which contradict each other. Only at the end do they come together to form the group’s claim, which unites all the different perspectives and passions: “Creating live moments”.
The tonality is spiced with a good pinch of self-irony – an important instrument for making the size of the group, which often suggests inertia, accessible.
For the recording of the interviews, a studio was set up under our direction, which gave expression to the new branding of the group and allowed the individual actors to stand out against a uniform background. The diversity of the companies themselves and their archive material was also consolidated into a common visual language.
And because we are “Übertrieberchind” (“hyperbolizing kids”) and the concept was a great idea, we produced eleven individual, crisp company portraits in addition to the brand movie.
